HGI security storm door locksets are made entirely of metal with exposed solid brass components. Each comes standard with a double-cylinder deadbolt featuring a 1″ throw for enhanced security. A single-cylinder configuration is also available upon request.

Entire team very professional and happy with output. Some miscommunication on specifics of the order but although frustrating at the time it was likely my oversight and I am hoping to resolve it after the fact and just order an additional two storm windows. Overall, I had 5 replacement windows and 27 storm windows installed. The 4 original windows in basement were from 1940 and the result and additional light makes me want to finish off the basement! I told them that they should have had before and after photos for marketing purposes. The aluminum storm windows are certainly not cheap but compared to replacing all the original multipane windows I think pricing was reasonable given installation and everything. They blend more seamlessly than I had originally thought they would and so keep the original architectural details in place. Brand new windows would have been nice but don’t regret my choice at all. Also appreciated that the installers replaced two broken original panes as a courtesy. Now here’s to hoping they reduce heat loss in the Vermont winters compared to the original single panes. I should add, I believe they got a business license in Vermont specifically to do my job in Brattleboro and are hoping to expand their service area. They deserve to be successful I their efforts in my opinion.

Repaired several single hung windows for me in the summer. Some of the pivot shoes, latches broken due to the hot sun. They also replaced a few screens for me. The job was done in a timely manner. They visited three times for estimates, measurement, and repairs. Every worker was professional. I would still use them in the future. One small thing is the tension on the new window balance is weaker, so a few repaired windows always slide an inch below the position I wanted, but not impact overall function.
