Cracked and Foggy Glass Replacement in Vinyl Double-Hung Window in Marlboro Township, NJ
⠀
A cracked windowpane can pose safety risks, while moisture trapped between the layers of glass may indicate a failed seal and reduced insulating performance. During a recent project in Marlboro Township, New Jersey, the ARDMOR team addressed these issues in a vinyl double-hung window by installing a new Cardinal insulated glass unit (IGU). Featuring annealed glass, LoĒ²-272 coating, and argon gas, the replacement helps control heat transfer and reduce UV exposure. The repair restored a clear view of the outdoors while preserving the original frame. Cardinal backs its insulated glass units with a 20-year warranty on materials, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
