Foggy Glass Replacement in Aluminum Picture Window in Philadelphia, PA

⠀

A recent commercial project in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, involved replacing a foggy insulated glass unit (IGU) in a large aluminum picture window. When seals fail, moisture can enter between the panes, obstructing visibility and compromising thermal performance. The ARDMOR team installed new Cardinal annealed glass featuring LoĒ²-272 coating and argon gas fill. This combination helps reduce solar heat gain, limit UV exposure, and maintain comfortable indoor temperatures while allowing natural daylight into the office. The repair restored a clear appearance without replacing the existing framing, with a 20-year warranty on Cardinal insulated glass materials.
