Cracked and Foggy Glass Replacement in Vinyl Double-Hung Window in Feasterville-Trevose, PA

⠀

A homeowner in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, contacted ARDMOR about cracked glass in a vinyl double-hung window. The unit was also foggy, suggesting that its seal may have failed even before the damage occurred. Both issues require timely attention, as they can affect safety, visibility, and thermal insulation. Our team installed a new Cardinal insulated glass unit (IGU) featuring annealed glass, LoĒ²-272 coating, and argon gas to help improve energy efficiency and reduce UV exposure. The repair restored a clear view while preserving the original frame. Cardinal backs its insulated glass units with a 20-year warranty on materials, providing added long-term value and peace of mind.
